Sang Bast Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنگ بست) is in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,612 in 1,785 households.[3] There were 6,884 inhabitants in 2,028 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,027 in 2,160 households. The largest of its 51 villages was Sadabad, with 1,157 people.[2]
