Davarzan

Davarzan (Persian: داورزن, also Romanized as Dāvarzan; also known as Duvarzān)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, the Central District of Davarzan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, and also serves as capital of the county.

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,387 in 705 households, when it was in the former Davarzan District of Sabzevar County).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,702 people in 859 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,744 people in 885 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Davarzan County with Davarzan as its capital.[2]
