Malfejan Rural District

Malfejan Rural District (Persian: دهستان مالفجان)[3] is in the Central District of Siahkal County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,390 in 1,893 households.[4] There were 6,139 inhabitants in 2,008 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,839 in 2,119 households. The largest of its 38 villages was Malfejan, with 855 people.[2]
