Hezarmasjed District

Hezarmasjed District (Persian: بخش هزارمسجد) is in Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Hasanabad-e Layen-e Now.[3][4]

Details

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Hezarmasjed Rural District of the Central District) was 6,010 in 1,428 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 5,772 people in 1,578 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 6,075 inhabitants in 1,869 households.[2]

After the census, Charam Rural District was established in the Central District and Layen Rural District was established in the newly formed Hezarmasjed District.[3][4]
