Baghshan

Baghshan (Persian: باغشن, also Romanized as Bāgh-shan; or Persian: بغ شن, Romanized as Bagh-shan)[3] is a village in Zeberkhan Rural District of the Central District of Zeberkhan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,769 in 797 households, when it was in the former Zeberkhan District of Nishapur County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,958 people in 940 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,127 people in 992 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county and divided into the Central and Eshaqabad Districts, the latter including the newly formed Heshmatiyeh Rural District.[6][7]
