Sangan Rural District

Sangan Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنگان)[3] is in the Central District of Khash County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Sangan.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,248 in 1,660 households.[4] There were 6,187 inhabitants in 1,416 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,411 in 1,854 households. The largest of its 59 villages was Shahrak-e Durudi, with 528 people.[2]
