Pasargad District

Pasargad District (Persian: بخش پاسارگاد), formerly Hakhamanish District (بخش هخامنش)[3] is in Pasargad County, Fars province, Iran. Hakhamanish is the modern Persian version of Achaemenes, the founder of the ancient Persian Achaemenid Dynasty.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 6,171 in 1,460 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 6,527 people in 1,751 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 6,161 inhabitants in 1,734 households.[2]
