Seyyedan

Seyyedan (Persian: سيدان, also Romanized as Seyyedān; also known as Sa‘īdān, Saidūn, and Seydān)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Seyyedan District of Marvdasht County, Fars province, Iran, and also serves as the administrative center for Khafrak-e Olya Rural District.

At the 2006 census, its population was 7,555 in 1,954 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 7,563 people in 2,170 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 8,574 people in 2,566 households.[2]
