Madeh Kariz

Madeh Kariz (Persian: ماده کاریز) is a village in, and the capital of, Madeh Kariz Rural District of Sefidabeh District of Nimruz County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 394 in 77 households, when it was in Sefidabeh Rural District of the former Posht Ab District of Zabol County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 341 people in 77 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 438 people in 96 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county and became a part of the newly established Nimruz County.[3]

After the census, the rural district was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts and no cities.[3]
