Kelardasht District (Persian: بخش کلاردشت) is a former administrative division of Chalus County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Kelardasht corresponds to historical Kelarestaq.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 36,458 in 10,092 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 17,350 people in 5,390 households,[2] by which time Birun Bashm and Kuhestan Rural Districts and the city of Marzanabad were separated from the district to establish Marzanabad District. Kelardasht Rural District was divided into two rural districts.[5]

After the census, the district was separated from the county to establish Kelardasht County.[6]
