Vahdat, Khuzestan

Vahdat (Persian: وحدت, also Romanized as Vaḩdat)[3] was a village in Shahi Rural District of Shahiyun District, Dezful County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 224 in 41 households, when it was in Sardasht District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 217 people in 51 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Shahiyun District.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 200 people in 55 households.[2]

In 2018, the villages of Baghchehban, Bazargah, and Vahdat merged in the establishment of the new city of Shahiyun.[6]
