Hamashahr, Kerman
Hamashahr (Persian: هماشهر), formerly Saadatabad (سعادت اباد), also Romanized as Sa‘ādatābād,[3] is a city in Pariz District of Sirjan County, Kerman province, Iran, and serves as the administrative center for Saadatabad Rural District. In 2011, the village of Saadatabad was merged with the villages of Deh Now, Dowlatabad, Hoseynabad-e Do, and Yahyaabad in the establishment of the new city of Hamashahr.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population (as the village of Saadatabad) was 1,942 in 389 households. Its population (as the total of its constituent villages) was 3,176 in 679 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,800 people in 790 households,[6] by which time Saadatabad had merged with other villages to establish the new city of Hamashahr.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,311 people in 1,038 households.[2]
