Estakhr-e Posht Rural District (Persian: دهستان استخرپشت)[3] is in Hezarjarib District of Neka County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,277 in 1,218 households.[4] There were 6,489 inhabitants in 1,714 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,035 in 1,593 households. The largest of its 23 villages was Shit, with 959 people.[2]
