Central District (Shushtar County)
The Central District of Shushtar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شوشتر) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shushtar.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 161,714 in 33,999 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 169,224 people in 40,566 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 139,040 inhabitants in 37,243 households.[2]
