Central District (Nimruz County)

The Central District of Nimruz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان نیمروز) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Adimi.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Posht Ab District of Zabol County) was 23,140 in 5,194 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 25,728 people in 6,105 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 26,001 inhabitants in 7,105 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county and became a part of the newly established Nimruz County.[3]
