2023 Houston mayoral election
The 2023 Houston mayoral election will be held on November 7, 2023, to elect the mayor of Houston, Texas. Incumbent mayor Sylvester Turner is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term in office.[1] In October 2023, Turner announced that he would not rule out weighing into the race and would be endorsing one of the candidates before the mayoral election.[2]
