Siti Aminah Aching

Siti Aminah binti Aching (born 24 March 1964) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beaufort since November 2022. She is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition.[1]

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Aching is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Siti Aminah. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
