Ohad Tal
Ohad Tal (Hebrew: אוהד טל) is an Israeli politician who serves as a member of Knesset for the Religious Zionist Party following the 2022 Israeli legislative election.[1] He was the director of World Bnei Akiva until he was forced to resign.[2]

Biography
Tal was born in Eilat and grew up there. His family was not religious and when he was at the beginning of elementary school they began the process of repentance. In elementary school he studied at the religious state school Yamin Herzog in Eilat. Studied at the high school in Mitzpe Ramon and served as a tank commander in the Armored Corps. After his military service, he went to study at the Hesder yeshiva in Sderot for a few months and later worked for two years at the "El Op" company of Elbit Systems, developing advanced systems for tanks. Has a bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in leadership and management of educational systems from Bar-Ilan University and a master's degree in management and public policy from the Hebrew University. Tal guided and managed educational projects at the Western Wall Heritage Foundation and was the field manager of the Temple Mount dirt screening project on behalf of the Elad association.
In 2013 he was appointed the central emissary of the Bnei Akiva movement and the Jewish Agency in the Netherlands. Upon his return to Israel, he founded and managed the "Religious Zionism Mission Center" - an umbrella organization of ten organizations that work to encourage the sons and daughters of religious Zionism to go on missions in the Diaspora, and was later appointed the Vice President of the Global Mizrahi Movement. In 2021, he was appointed Secretary General of the Global Bnei Akiva Movement. On the day the lists were submitted in the election system for the twenty-fifth Knesset (2022), the chairman of the Religious Zionist Party, Bezalel Smotrich, announced the placement of Tal at number 12 on the party's list for the Knesset, which ultimately won 14 seats.
Personal life
Tal is married to Tamar nee Shachel, who has a master's degree in business administration and since 2017 is the director of finance and human resources at the "Daat" network of high schools and religious youth villages. The couple has four children and they live in Efrat.
