Lenine Raion
Lenine Raion (Ukrainian: Ленінський район, Russian: Ленинский район), known by Ukrainian authorities[nb 1] as Yedi Quyu Raion (Ukrainian: Єдикуйський район, romanized: Yedykuiskyi raion, Crimean Tatar: Yedi Quyu rayonı) is one of the 25 regions of the Crimea. It is located in the eastern part of the peninsula. The population of the district speaks 86% Russian, 9% Ukrainian, and 5% Other. The administrative centre of Lenine Raion is the urban-type settlement of Lenine. Population: 61,143 (2014 Census).[1]

- The renaming has been effected by Ukraine's decommunization laws, but as Crimea is outside of Ukrainian control, this decision has had little practical effect.
