Central District (Jarqavieh County)
The Central District of Jarqavieh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان جرقویه) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nikabad.[3][4]

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as the former Jarqavieh Sofla District of Isfahan County) was 20,970 in 5,473 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 22,003 people in 6,373 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, there were 22,891 inhabitants in 7,079 households.[2]
The district was separated from Isfahan County in 2021 in the establishment of Jarqavieh County, with the city of Nikabad as its capital.[3][4]
