Cabo San Lucas International Airport

Cabo San Lucas International Airport (Spanish: Aeródromo Internacional de Cabo San Lucas) (ICAO: MMSL) is a small international airfield (officially an "aerodrome") located 4.5 miles (7.2 km) northwest of Cabo San Lucas in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is the smaller of two airports that serve Los Cabos; the larger is Los Cabos International Airport about 7 miles (11 km) to the north of San Jose del Cabo.

The airport offers air taxi service, and commercial flights to Mexico and the United States.[3] It operates as the main hub of the regional airline Calafia Airlines. It handled 45,178 passengers in 2021.

The airport has four plane stands to serve civil and executive aviation: a general aviation platform, a commercial aviation platform, and two executive aviation platforms. Recently, the runway was enlarged and lengthened to 7,000ft. Also, new navigation aids were installed, along with new air traffic control equipment, a control tower, lighting, PAPI visual aids, and a new FBO with all the ground support equipment. The airport operates from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time. It is the only private-owned international airport in the country.[4]
