Anandha Ragam (transl. A Blissful Tune) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language family drama series starring Anusha Prathap and Alagappan in lead role.[2] It premiered on 29 August 2022 Sun TV from Monday to Saturday.[3] It is also available on the digital platform Sun NXT.[4][5]

    Synopsis

    The story involves Eshwari and Azhagu, Unfortunate events force an ambitious Eshwari and a school dropout Azhagu to tie the knot. Can this odd couple turn their marriage into a happily ever after? Will Eshwari realize her IPS dream amidst life's many hardships?

    Casting

    Kannada Television actress Anusha Prathap was cast in the female lead role as Eshwari, making her debut in Tamil television dramas. Tamil actor Alagappan was selected to play the male lead of Azhagu Sundaram, making his first debut in male lead role.[6] In cameo roles, Tamil actor Ilavarasu[7] and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan were cast as Eshwari's parents.
