The Tropaeolaceae (nasturtium family) contains the single genus Tropaeolum, which in New York is represented by the cultivated ornamental commonly known as nasturtium. Note that this is not the same as the genus Nasturtium, commonly known as watercress, in the family Brassicaceae below.[1]
