Washington International School, Karachi
The Washington International School (WIS) (Urdu: واشنگٹن بین الاقوامی جمات) is an international school located in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of Karachi, Pakistan.[1]

WISDOM Educational Society is sponsoring education programs at the Washington International School since 1994.[2]
Major incidents
In September 2011, a bomb blast carried out by the Pakistani Taliban targeted a senior police officer residing in the area. The impact of the blast severely damaged Washington International School, Karachi, killing one teacher and a student [3][4][5]
