The Underdoggs is an upcoming American sports comedy film directed by Charles Stone III[4] and co-written with Danny Segal and Isaac Schamis.[5]

Not to be confused with Underdogs (2013 American film).

Premise

A former NFL player named Jaycen Jennings agrees to coach a youth football team in order to avoid going to prison.[6]

Cast

Production

The idea for the movie was pitched by Snoop Dogg and Constance Schwartz-Morini.[11][12] The Underdoggs began filming on location in Atlanta starting in late 2022.[13]

Release

The film was originally set to release on October 20, 2023,[14][15] but was later changed to January 26, 2024.
