Thallomys
Thallomys is a genus of rodent in the family Muridae endemic to Africa.[1] It contains four species:
- Loring's rat (Thallomys loringi)
 - Black-tailed tree rat (Thallomys nigricauda)
 - Acacia rat (Thallomys paedulcus)
 - Shortridge's rat (Thallomys shortridgei)
