Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet
The Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (TNGIM) is a business summit organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu, to facilitate both domestic and foreign investments in the State. This summit have played a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and development in the region. The first of these summits took place in 2015.

In the most recent gathering held in 2019, the TNGIM facilitated the signing of a remarkable 304 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), paving the way for potential investments totalling ₹300,431 crores (US$42 billion).[1][2]
The anticipation is building for the next edition of the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (TNGIM) in 2024. Scheduled to take place in Chennai on the 7th and 8 January, TNGIM 2024 promises to be a landmark event that will bring together not only investors but also thought leaders, policymakers, and academia. This gathering will provide a platform to chart the course for Tamil Nadu's future role, with key themes centred around leadership, sustainability, and inclusivity in its journey toward becoming a trillion-dollar economy.

Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2015
In 2015, the Meet was organized by Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. More than 5,000 delegates attended, signing over 100 MoUs, and raised ₹24,000,000 of investment.[3]
Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2019
On 23 and 24 January 2019, the second Meet was held at the Chennai Trade Centre.[4] 304 MoUs were signed and potential investments worth ₹300,431 crores (US$42 billion) were made.[1] Adani Group and Indian Oil Corporation committed to invest ₹28,000 crores (US$3.9 billion). The majority of Adani's investment was to make the Kattupalli shipyard a major multipurpose port by increasing its current capacity twelvefold.[5]
Japan announced that All Nippon Airways (ANA) would start daily flights between Narita and Chennai to increase air connectivity to India.[6]
Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024
On 10 August 2023, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin unveiled the new logo and announced the dates for the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024, which is set to take place on January 7 and 8, 2024.
