Saraya al-Jihad
Saraya al-Jihad (Arabic: سرايا الجهاد, "Jihad Companies") or as the Popular Mobilization Forces' 17th Brigade[7] is an Iraqi Shia group and the armed wing of the Jihad and Development Movement, operating in Iraq and Syria under the command of the Popular Mobilization Forces.[8] It has been closely intertwined with Liwa al-Muntazar.[3]
Not to be confused with the Syrian faction that claimed the explosion of Hama Military Airport.[1]
