Salahlay District
Salahley District (Somali: Degmada Salaxley) is a District of the Maroodi Jeex Region in Somaliland. Its capital lies at Salahlay.[1]

The Salahlay District was established during the presidency of Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Egal.[2]
In September 2022, water with traces of crude oil was collected while drilling a well in Baha-dhamal.[3] the district is wholly dominated by the Eidagale sub-clan of Garhajis a sub-clan of the wider Isaaq clan.
