1921 - Abel Paz (pictured) is born in Almería, Spain.

1958 - Goliardo Fiaschi, Italian partisan, anti-fascist & anarchist guerilla , & Luis Agustín Vicente appear before a Court Martial, with Fiaschi receiving a prison term of 20 years & one day, with Vicente receiving 24 years & four months. The two guerillas had entered Spain a year ago with José Lluís Facerias who was killed in a separate ambush.
1975 - Laurance Labadie (b. 1898) dies, aged 78. Individualist anarchist, son of Joseph Labadie.
1992 - Anarchist composer & musician John Cage (b. 1912) dies, New York City.
