Operation Griffin (Portugal)

Operation Griffin (Portuguese: Operação Grifo) was an ambush organised by a squad of Portuguese paratroopers in southern Guinea to prevent the penetration of guerrillas from Guinea-Conacri into Portuguese controlled areas.[1]
