Munshi Wadud
Munshi Wadud is a Bangladeshi famous lyricist.[1][2] He has been writing different kinds of songs including Bengali films songs, modern Bengali songs, country related songs etc. for more than fifty two years. Apart from Bangladeshi artists,his songs have been sung by famous artists of India.Indian artists who have lent their voices to songs by Munshi Wadud are Anuradha Padhowal, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam,Heimanti Shukla,Priya Bhattacharya,Avijit,Babul Supriya and Shan are particularly noteworthy. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the film Saajghor (2007).[3]
