Ministry of National Defense (Turkey)

The Ministry of National Defence (Turkish: Millî Savunma Bakanlığı) is a government ministry office of the Republic of Turkey, responsible for coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government concerned directly with national security and the Turkish Armed Forces. It is headquartered at the Bakanlıklar in Ankara.

Ministry of National Defence is responsible for recruitment, procurement, production, logistics, medical care and other tasks to prepare the Armed Forces and its personnel for military operations.

The Ministry of National Defence is headed by the Minister of National Defence, a cabinet-level head who reports directly to the President of Turkey and also a member of the National Security Council.
