Mana Ahmadani has been named after Sardar Mana Khan Ahmadani Baloch, who was tribal chief of Ahmadani Baloch tribe. The prominent tribe of the town is Ahmadani Baloch. There is a Sunni majority and a Shia minority. The Sunnis are scattered all over Mana Ahmadani. Meanwhile, the Shias are mainly located at a place they call "Pul" meaning bridge in urdu and saraiki. This Ahmadani tribe then has further subcastes. Even though it isn't that much of a famous caste, it still has a whole bunch of subcastes. The other castes in Mana Ahmadani other than Ahmadanis are Lond, Gurmani, and Muhajirs such as Rajput and Arain, etc.
