Long Flat is a rural locality in the Gympie Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Long Flat had a population of 80 people.[1]

Geography
The Mary Valley Road (State Route 51) runs through from north to south.[3]
History
Lagoon Pocket Provisional School opened on 25 September 1882 but closed in December 1899 to allow a new building to be constructed. It reopened on 6 June 1900 as Lagoon Pocket State School. It closed on 3 July 1970.[4] It was at 57 Lagoon Pocket Road (26.2729°S 152.6679°E).[5]
