Lissodus
Lissodus is an extinct genus of freshwater shark. It lived from the Mississippian subperiod of the Carboniferous period to the Albian age of the Cretaceous.[2] It was about 15 centimetres (5.9 in) long and had flat teeth that it used for eating clams.[3]

Paleoecology
Triassic specimen of Lissodus from Angola was found in sediments of a freshwater lake that probably dried up during the dry seasons. Other fishes from the same locality are Schaefferius (previously known as "Marquesia"[5]), two species of Perleidus, neopterygian Angolaichthys, and a lungfish Microceratodus.[6]
