In October 2017, he released his debut studio album, Lil Pump, peaking at number 3 on the Billboard 200, album included songs like "Gucci Gang", "Boss", "D Rose" and "Molly". On February 22, 2019, he would release his second studio album Harverd Dropout, which debuted at number seven on the US Billboard 200 with 48,000 album-equivalent units, of which 25,000 were pure album sales. He would release a debut and collaborative mixtape with Ronny J called No Name on December 10, 2021. Mixtape was never promoted or mentioned on social media, leading it to become a commercial failure.

He would release his long-awaited third studio album Lil Pump 2 on March 17, 2023. Album was projected to earn significantly less units in its first week than his previous album. The deluxe version of Lil Pump 2, was released on September 15, 2023, containing new tracks: "6 Rings", "Glow in the Dark", "I Sell" and "Rick Rubin".
