Lapandav (translation: Hide And Seek) is a 1993 Indian Marathi-language romantic comedy film directed by Shravani Deodhar and produced by Sachin Parekar and Sanjay Parekar. The film stars an ensemble cast of Ashok Saraf, Vandana Gupte, Vikram Gokhale, Savita Prabhune, Ajinkya Deo, Varsha Usgaonkar, Sunil Barve and Pallavi Ranade.

Plot

Abhijeet Samarth, the lazy owner of a gymnasium, lives a wealthy lifestyle in Pune along with his advocate wife Asavari, collegiate daughter Rasika and widowed father Mr. Samarth. His advocate friend Anant Mahashabde also lives a wealthy lifestyle in Pune along with his homemaker wife Ulka, collegiate son Aseem, schoolgoing daughter Chinu and widowed mother Mrs. Mahashabde. Both Abhijeet and Anant get along every Saturday with Asavari and sometimes Ulka as well, and enjoy some drinks and poetry together. Their harmonious lifestyle changes hilariously when both Ulka and Abhijeet come across two anonymous love letters apparently addressed to Anant and Asavari, respectively, and begin to suspect that their respective spouses are having an extramarital affair.
