The Japanese National Road Race Championships are conducted every year under the auspices of the Japan Cycling Federation.

- The race was due to be held in June, but was "indefinitely postponed" due to safety concerns raised by the Japan Cycling Federation.[2][3] The race was ultimately held in October.[4]
