Jalalia, Punjab
Jalalia (Urdu: جلاليه) is a village located in Chhachh Valley, the northern part of Attock District of the Punjab, Pakistan. It lies close to the borders of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1]

The majority population of Jalalia is Pakhtun, with the remainder being Pakhtunized Hindkowan. Jalalia village is located in Chhachh, in the northern part of Attock District in Punjab province of Pakistan, close to the border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North-West Frontier) Province. Jalalia is one of the biggest village in Chach with a population of nearly 12,000. Jalalia was founded and is currently owned by the sub tribe of yousaf zai. The name of Jalalia comes from the Jalal khan who was a part of the yosafzai tribe. The Seven mohallas known as akakhail,akakhail is main mohalla of jalalia and other mohallas are Ganjal,Utman-Khail,Mughal-abad,Dehari Sirra Abdur-Rahman and Kashmir abad A plurality of the population of Jalalia has Pakhtun roots and follows the Pashtunwali code, called Pathan Walgi in the local dialect. They are mostly yosafzai tribe with a handful of people from other tribes, such as Swatis and Kochian. Newer immigrant Pashtuns in this village are referred to as Kabulis, regardless of whether they actually are from Afghanistan. The residents of this village primarily speak Hindko, There is a welfare association in the village (Hamdard Welfare Society) Most of the contribution is made by the wealthy people in the village and those living abroad. People from Jalalia have migrated to many countries around the world with the majority migrating to the United Kingdom, who reside in the city of Bradford, Birmingham, England. Others have become immigrants of the United States, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Many work abroad in Middle East countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The village has three primary schools, Two boys' high school', fourteen Masjids and 17 Madrasahs. Most residents of this village work in agriculture, small shops, or government officials and Lawyers.
