Ivan Korčok
Ivan Korčok (born 4 April 1964)[1] is a Slovak diplomat, politician, and candidate in the 2024 Slovak presidential election. He served as the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs from 2020 until 2022.

Career
Korčok served as the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs in the Cabinet of Igor Matovič from April 2020 until his resignation in late March 2021.[2] In April 2021, he was appointed back under the Cabinet of Eduard Heger.[3] He finally resigned in September 2022 alongside other ministers nominated by the SAS party due to major disagreements with Igor Matovič, the party leader of OĽANO, the largest coalition party.[4]
He announced his candidacy in the 2024 Slovak presidential election in August 2023.[5]
Personal life
Korčok is married and with his wife Soňa has two sons.[1]
