Ighil, Morocco
Ighil (Moroccan Arabic: إيغيل) is a small town and rural commune in Al Haouz Province of the Marrakesh-Safi region of Morocco. At the time of the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 5619 people living in 858 households.[1]

History
The municipality of Ighil was created in 1992.
On 8 September 2023, Ighil was the epicenter of the 2023 Marrakesh-Safi earthquake.[2]
