Hajjiabad, South Khorasan
Hajjiabad (Persian: حاجي آباد, also Romanized as Ḩājjīābād and Hājīābād; also known as Hajābād)[3] is a city in the Central District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran, and serves as capital of the county.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,333 in 1,026 households, when it was in the former Zirkuh District of Qaen County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 5,918 people in 1,400 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,168 people in 1,464 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and Zirkuh County established with three new districts and Hajjiabad as its capital.[2]
