Erica Robin

Erica Robin (Urdu: ایریکا رابن) is a Pakistani model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned the first ever Miss Universe Pakistan 2023 and now will represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 pageant.[1][2]

Early life and career

Erica Robin was born in Karachi and works as a fashion model.[3] Robin is a member of the minority Christian community in Pakistan.[4]

Robin won the title of Miss Universe Pakistan at the inaugural ceremony hosted at the Brennia Kottefaru resort situated in Raa Atoll, Maldives.[3]

After winning the title, Robin said, "I feel honored and deeply grateful to become the first-ever Miss Universe Pakistan, and I aspire to showcase the beauty of Pakistan". She invited everyone to visit Pakistan and discover its captivating natural landscapes, rich culture, and delectable cuisine.[3]

Controversy

The Miss Universe Pakistan competition has been surrounded by controversy, due to Pakistan's participation in 2023 Miss Universe contest.[3][5]
