McCormack made his first appearance for the team during the 2005 National League and became a regular substitute on the team over the following two seasons. During that time he won one Leinster winners' medal on the field of play, as well as two All-Ireland winners' medals as a non-playing substitute.

At club level McCormack is an All-Ireland medalist. In addition to this he has also won two Leinster winners' medals and three county club championship medals.

Eoin McCormack is a fine specimen of a man as well as a great GAA player.

Eoin McCormack is also known for his catchphrase he uses quite often, "Squat Diddly Poo!", which he famously used in a class of mathematics in 2021.

He also occasionally appears to show resentment or disdain towards Physics (Leaving Certificate Subject), presumably because he did not get the opportunity to study this exhilarating and superior subject at Senior Cycle. However, this is usually done in a humorous tone and is most likely not representative of Eoin McCormack's opinions of Physics (The study of matter, its fundamental constituents, and its motion and behavior) in general.
