Doina Gherman
Doina Gherman (born 29 November 1982) is a Moldovan member of Parliament. She is also a women’s rights activist working to protect victims of domestic and gender-based violence.[1][2] She was awarded the International Women of Courage Award in 2022.

Life
She was born in 1982 in Chișinău. She can speak four languages and her first degree was in foreign languages from Balti State University. Her masters degree is in management and it was awarded by the Moldovan Academy of Public Administration. She has worked for her country's customs service and she has taught branding before she was elected to parliament.[1]
She was awarded the International Women of Courage Award in 2022.
