Congregation Ahavath Torah

Congregation Ahavath Torah is a Modern Orthodox synagogue in Englewood, New Jersey.[1][2][3]

History

The synagogue traces its roots back to 1895, and was the first synagogue in Bergen County, New Jersey.[4][1][5] It is on Broad Avenue.[1][5] In 2016, in opened a mikveh with two pools.[6] In 2017 it had about 750 families.[7]

Among the Shabbat morning minyanim, the synagogue includes a Sephardic minyan known as the Benaroya Sephardic Center.
