Chlorohippotes

Chlorohippotes is a genus of green algae, in the family Chlorococcaceae.[1] It contains a single species, Chlorohippotes tenax.[2]

Chlorohippotes tenax is an obligate epiphyte on multicellular volvocalean algae, particularly Volvox and Eudorina.[2]
