Chandler Seagle
Chandler Mackenzie Seagle (born May 23, 1996) is an American professional baseball catcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023.

Career
Seagle attended New Bern High School in New Bern, North Carolina. In 2014, his senior year, the Sun Journal named him their high school baseball player of the year.[1] He enrolled at Appalachian State University and played college baseball for the Appalachian State Mountaineers. The Padres selected him in the 30th round, with the 888th overall selection, of the 2017 MLB draft.[2][3]
The Padres promoted Seagle to the major leagues on September 30, 2023,[4] and he made his debut that day as a pinch hitter.[5]
