Buhoodle District
Buhoodle District (Somali: Degmada Buuhoodle) is a district in the Togdheer region of Somalia. Its district capital is Buuhoodle.[2][3][4]

Demographics
The district is inhabited by the Dhulbahante clan of the Daarood clan-family with many lineages residing there.[5] Lineages that include, The Farah Garad: Ahmed Garad and Barkad, who are well represented. the Baho Nugaaled: Khalid, Yahya, Hayaag, Mohamed Muse and the Abokor Muse. Although the Ahmed Garad: is well repressed much of the district is inhabited by the Reer hagar also known as Hagar Adan which itself belongs to the Adan Ahmed confederation: which is composed of 3 other Dhulbahante clan which are the Waeys Adan, Mahad Adan, Farah Adan and Hagar Adan themselves: making them the Adan Ahmed: Buhoodle district is home to Garaad Abdullahi Ahmed sulub who is the grand Garaad of Adan Ahmed of the district.
